Did someone say Colours of Courage? 🌈
Last Friday, YRG members Ellie and Eshal headed down to Mount Barker Highschool for a Wear it Purple Day event - from DIY ribbons to badge making and spray paint artwork, students came together to show LGBTQIA+ youth that they are seen, supported, and celebrated within our community.

GenWise and YRG had so much fun creating connection and belonging at Mount Barker High School for Bullying No Way Day 🙌

We played bingo for a small prize and created a handprint mural ✋ We also had bowling pins and ring toss available for those who liked a challenge!

Now, how could we further decorate the hand print mural for the wall of our youth space back at the headspace centre? 🤔

If you want to get involved with more activities like this, we would love it if you came along to our fortnightly GenWise get together. Next session: Thursday 3/09/26 4pm - 5:30pm!

Sometimes we make crafts, play video and board games, listen to music and even just hang out and talk, spreading mental health awareness and connection one step at a time 🫶

Sharing kindness with our community 💚
Yesterday in Gen Wise we made kindness cards to put in our reception area for anyone who needs a bit of extra kindness in their life. 🫶
