I was incredibly fortunate to be invited to speak at the SMS Australasian Seminar this week.
I had the opportunity to discuss the importance of saddle fitters and veterinary physiotherapists working collaboratively, and how, by combining our expertise, we can improve horse welfare: the priority for us all!
I also explored how the relationship between the saddle, horse, and rider is intrinsically connected, why considering all three is essential for achieving the best outcomes, and how we can put this collaborative approach into practice.
A huge thank you to Kathryn Kathryn Sullivan-Butt for the invitation, it was a real privilege to present to so many knowledgeable and passionate professionals. I thoroughly enjoyed the learning and discussions over the two days! I’ve come away feeling inspired, with plenty of food for thought and ideas to take back into practice. ☺️
