Three years ago today, our community was shaken by the tragedy of the Greta Bus Crash.
It is a day that many of us will never forget.
At Chapmans Funerals, we had the privilege of standing beside several families as they navigated unimaginable grief. In the midst of heartbreak, we witnessed extraordinary courage, love, and resilience. While no family should ever have to endure such a loss, it was an honour to support them and help celebrate the lives of those they cherished.
The days and weeks that followed were some of the most challenging our team has experienced, but they also reminded us of the strength of our community and the importance of coming together in times of sorrow.
Today, we remember those who lost their lives, the families forever changed by that day, the emergency services and first responders who answered the call, and the wider community that rallied around those affected.
Three years on, they remain in our thoughts and our hearts.
Lest we never forget the lives lost and the impact this tragedy continues to have on so many.
