Meet Dr Swetha Gali.

Originally from India, Dr Swetha gained broad medical experience through her physician training in the United Kingdom before moving into general practice.

She enjoys caring for patients through all stages of life and has a particular interest in women’s health and skin cancer medicine.

When she’s not at Newstead Medical, you’ll likely find Dr Swetha cooking, catching up with family and friends, enjoying a long walk or listening to a good audiobook!

Welcome Dr Yan!

Before moving into General Practice, Dr Yan worked at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in the NHS and the Royal Hobart Hospital, gaining broad experience across medical and surgical specialties.

Dr Yan provides warm, patient-centred care for people of all ages and values building long-term relationships with his patients. He believes in shared decision-making and supporting each person to achieve their individual health goals.

His special interests include:

• Chronic disease management
• Health assessments and preventive care
• Seniors’ health
• Palliative care
• Acute illnesses and ongoing health concerns
