There’s a difference between learning about diastasis and actually experiencing it LIVE. 🙌

Seeing it, feeling it, exploring how differently people present and respond. 💡

That hands-on experience is a big part of Diastasis Done Differently, taking what you know and exploring what it actually looks and feels like in front of you.

Understanding the theory is one thing, but experiencing it brings another layer to your learning. 🎓

💬“I’ve had to unlearn a lot of it and I’ve had to change the way I coach, the way I think about things…”

For Laure, one of the biggest shifts after taking the course was changing the way she thinks, and ultimately, changing the way she coaches her clients.

It doesn’t mean throwing out everything you’ve learned. It means being willing to stop and ask:

Is this actually true?
Does it apply to this person?
What happens if we test it? And retest it? 🔄

That’s a big part of The Female Athlete – Level 1.

Rather than simply following what you’ve always been told, you get to challenge assumptions, explore what actually happens, and make decisions based on the individual in front of you.

In Laure’s words…

“It has changed the way I coach my clients entirely…” 🙌

One cue. Different bodies. Different responses. 💡

That’s why Diastasis Done Differently isn’t about finding one “right” way. It’s about learning to observe, adapt, question your assumptions and work with the individual in front of you. 🙌

🤯 If diastasis is part of your clinical practice, you’ve probably come across plenty of conflicting advice about what’s “safe”, what to avoid, and what people with DRA should or shouldn’t do.

So how do you decide what actually matters for the person in front of you? 🤔

🇺🇸 Diastasis Done Differently is coming to Columbus OH for two interactive days designed to help you make sense of the evidence and think differently about assessment, management and exercise.

You’ll explore:

📚 What the latest evidence actually says
🔍 What really matters when assessing DRA
🔬 Real-time ultrasound to see what’s happening beneath the surface
🏋️ How to develop and progress individualised exercise programs
💬 How to communicate without creating unnecessary fear
🧠 How to navigate the grey areas and make decisions for the individual in front of you

The goal isn’t simply to memorise more exercises.

It’s to understand the principles behind your decisions — so you can work out what to do next, and why.

💭 Everyone has an opinion about diastasis.

The problem isn’t finding advice.

🤔 The problem is knowing which advice to trust.

That’s why I created Diastasis Done Differently.

❌ Not to give you another protocol.

🧠 But to help you think critically, interpret the evidence, and confidently make decisions for the individual in front of you.

✨ If you’re looking for greater clarity, better clinical reasoning, and practical ways to apply the evidence...

I’d love to see you in London.

“This exercise is safe for the pelvic floor.”

We hear this phrase often, and it sounds reassuring. But what about the other exercises that aren’t on the list?

Labeling exercises as “safe” or “unsafe” can unintentionally create more fear around normal physical activity. Instead of building confidence, we’re discouraging women from doing more.

Movement isn’t inherently dangerous.
The question shouldn’t be whether an exercise is “good” or “bad”, but whether the individual has the capacity to tolerate and adapt to the demands it places on their body.

Instead of asking:

❌ Is this exercise good or bad for the pelvic floor?

What if we ask:

✅ How can we progressively build capacity for this exercise?

This subtle shift changes the conversation and mindset from restriction to resilience.

Revisiting Pelvic Floor Exercises with Dr Monika Leitner explores this approach: helping active women return to running, jumping, and sport with more confidence and less fear-based restriction.

This course is approved for 4.5 CEUs across 40+ US states, making it an even more valuable opportunity for clinicians looking to expand their clinical knowledge.

Here’s what one participant had to say about Revisiting Pelvic Floor Exercises:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“This course is a game‑changer for anyone working with active women. It’s practical, evidence‑based, and gives you a completely new way to understand and train the pelvic floor - especially in athletes. If you want something that finally makes sense and you can use the very next day, this is it.”
