Sometimes you’ve just got to have a little fun together 💚

This week, the THO team took on the plank dance… and there were plenty of laughs along the way.

What looks like a fun challenge is actually built around the same foundations we work on with children every day; core strength, coordination, balance, body and space awareness.

We love creating a workplace full of energy, encouragement and smiles, because that positivity naturally flows into every session with the children and families we support.

Come and meet the team behind Total Health Orange.
We’d love to welcome you.

It’s Men’s Health Week.

Looking after your health doesn’t always mean making big changes. Sometimes it’s getting support for a niggling injury, finding ways to move more comfortably, or simply having someone in your corner when life feels a little overwhelming.

At THO, our team supports people of all ages through psychology, exercise physiology and Key Therapy, helping our community stay healthy, active and connected 💚

If this made you think of someone, send it their way.

We spend a lot of time talking about the children, young people and families we support, but today we’d like to shine a light on our team 💚

It’s a workplace filled with learning, laughter and a genuine passion for helping our community thrive.

If you’re an allied health professional looking for a supportive team environment in the Central West, we’d love to connect.

Gentle help for puffy, swollen and tired bodies.

We often have people ask Sarah and the team what they can do when they’re feeling puffy, carrying excess fluid, or noticing swelling in their hands, feet or legs.

One simple technique Sarah often talks about is the “Big Six”. A gentle sequence that supports the lymphatic system by focusing on key areas of the body.

In this reel, Sarah shows you exactly where these points are and how to do the technique at home. Each point is gently rubbed ten times and tapped ten times.

It’s simple, takes only a few minutes, and can be a lovely way to support your body as part of your daily routine.

Curious whether lymphatic support could be right for you? We’d be happy to chat 💚

A few months ago, sitting and focusing on a task for more than a few minutes was a challenge.

Today, this little legend is independently recognising when his body needs a break, communicating his needs, and using strategies to help himself get back to his “just right” zone.

Along the way, his attention, handwriting skills, confidence and self regulation have all grown.

These are the moments we celebrate at THO. They reflect the small steps, consistent effort and meaningful progress that happen over time.

We are incredibly proud of you 🌟

If your family is currently on our waitlist, we wanted to share a little of what happens behind the scenes 💚

Our team is working through our waitlist, taking the time to understand each child’s needs and align them with the therapist, that is the best fit. We know how important it is to get this right.

If you’ve been waiting to hear from us, please know that we always welcome a phone call or message to check in. We are happy to talk about where things are at and answer any questions you may have along the way 🙏

One of our highest priorities is nurturing and supporting the families who place their trust in us, even before therapy begins. While you’re waiting, we encourage you to stay connected with us here. We regularly share practical tips, activities, exercises and little ideas that may help support your child at home.

You are never just a name on a list to us. We see you, we value you, and we look forward to supporting your family very soon.

If you’d like an update or simply want to say hello, our door is always open ☀️
