🎂 OKAY… at this point we may as well just declare it BIRTHDAY WEEK at The Village Medical Practice! 😂🎉

That’s right — THREE doctors, THREE birthdays, all in the same week! Apparently great doctors are just born in August! 🥳

Today it’s our lovely Dr Jan’s turn to be spoiled! 💕

When she’s not busy looking after her patients, you’ll quite often find Dr Jan doing something else she loves — cooking up an absolute storm in the kitchen! 👩🏽‍🍳🍲

So from all of us at The Village Medical Practice, we wish Dr Jan the happiest of birthdays! We hope your day is filled with lots of laughs, plenty of spoiling and, most importantly, that someone else does the cooking for YOU today! 😂🎂🥂

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE FIRST LADY OF THE PRACTICE — OUR WONDERFUL DR ELLIE! 🎂🐮💐

Today we celebrate the incredibly talented, wonderfully creative and completely one-of-a-kind Dr Eleanor Arbuckle. ❤️

Not only is she an amazing doctor, she is crazy talented with a paintbrush, full of life, laughter and joy, and brings a warmth to The Village that simply can’t be replicated.

If you’ve ever sat anywhere near Dr Ellie’s consult room, you’ll know exactly what we mean — half the time it sounds less like a doctor’s appointment and more like she’s in there having a good old laugh with her best friends! 😂 And really, that says everything about the way she makes her patients feel — comfortable, heard, cared for and completely at ease.

The care, compassion and genuine warmth she brings to our practice is second to none. She is absolutely adored by all of us who are privileged enough to work beside her, and so loved by the patients lucky enough to call her their doctor.

Dr Ellie, The Village simply wouldn’t be The Village without you. ❤️

On Sunday 13th September, The Village Wanderers will be taking on the 42K Marathon Walk to raise funds for the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. 💙🐉

Blue Dragon does incredible work helping children and young people in Vietnam escape poverty, homelessness, trafficking and exploitation — giving them safety, education and the opportunity for a brighter future.

So yes… 42 kilometres. On foot. In one day. 😅
There may be sore feet. There will definitely be questionable life choices somewhere around kilometre 30. 😂 But most importantly, every step we take will be for an amazing cause.
