A few years ago I couldn’t swim without aids. In September, I couldn’t breathe after the first 50m lap. Now I’m swimming 500m three times a week, getting ready for my 300m leg at the South32 Bunbury Women’s Triathlon on Sunday 15 November.

I am fundraising through RPH Research Foundation to support Cell & Tissue Therapies research and help advance future treatment options for people living with serious diseases like SPS.

Four years ago I couldn’t swim without aids. In September, when I started triathlon training, I couldn’t breathe after the first 50 metres.

On Sunday 15 November I’ll swim the 300m leg of the South32 Bunbury Women’s Triathlon with my team, The Sunday Supremes.
