Some of you will remember my post about prostate cancer — 1 in 8 men. My father is one of them, and he’s now being moved to hospice care. So I’ve had to jump on a flight to Europe to be with him while I still can.
FIHA has always been built on honesty — about root causes, about what healing actually takes, and about being human while doing this work. So I won’t pretend this is business as usual.
And going through this again has brought it all back — every way it was missed the first time. Inflammation dismissed. Symptoms masked instead of investigated. Told, more than once, that it had nothing to do with his diagnosis. It was simply genetic and ‘bad luck’. When I raised the connection between his mouth and his cancer — the periodontal disease, the mouth full of silver amalgams he’d had for years — I was completely ignored. It had nothing to do with ‘their work’. And they’re never going to see the connections.
This is exactly why I do this work. Root causes don’t get chased — they get managed, medicated, and missed. By the time something is “found,” the damage is already done.
If you’re already a client, nothing changes on your end — I’ll still be on the other side of the screen working through your labs, just from a different time zone.
If you’ve been sitting on a founding client application, it’s still open, and I’d love to have you.
I’ll ask for a little patience with replies over the next few weeks while I navigate this.
Appreciate you all, more than you know. 🤍
