Let me tell you about someone I’ll call Paula.
Paula is in her late forties. She works, has a family, manages a busy life and, from the outside, is doing reasonably well.
If you asked her, “Are you healthy?” she would probably say, “Yes… mostly.”
But ask a slightly different question: “Do you feel well?”
And the answer may be different. She wakes up tired even after a reasonable night’s sleep.
Her energy drops in the afternoon. Her digestion isn’t quite what it used to be.
Her mind is constantly busy, and things she once managed easily seem to take more out of her.
Nothing is dramatically wrong. And gradually, this has simply become normal.
“I’m just getting older.” “I’ve been busy.” “Everyone is tired.” “I probably need a holiday.”
But here is the question I find myself asking:
When did feeling less than well become normal?
Ayurveda gives us an interesting way of looking at this.
It invites us to pay attention not only when illness has clearly manifested, but much earlier, to the small changes, patterns and whispers that tell us we may be moving away from balance.
There can be a surprisingly large space between feeling truly well and being diagnosed with an illness.
I call it the Missing Middle.
This is what we’ll explore in my upcoming session:
Why We’re Not Sick, But Not Well
Understanding the Missing Middle in Health
If Paula’s story sounds even a little familiar, I’d love you to join me. You can join only this event or more from 12 sessions from the online Ayurveda Summit that we are running

The Ayurveda Awareness Three-Day Online Summit is an opportunity to pause and explore your wellbeing from a different perspective.

If you’ve ever felt like you and your partner are "speaking different languages" during a disagreement, you’re not alone.

Ayurveda teaches that our constitution influences everything from our need for space to our desire for directness. Learn how to stop interpreting these natural differences as criticism and start using them as a tool for mutual understanding and balance.
