This week we celebrate the theme of Active Ageing , gracefully and gratefully, honouring the preciousness of life, the wisdom of experience, and the gift of being fully present. Together we explore the yogic principle of Santosha, or contentment, not as settling for less, but as deeply appreciating what is here. Patanjali teaches that through contentment comes profound joy, and perhaps ageing gracefully is one of the greatest expressions of Santosha: honouring what remains, celebrating what is possible, and meeting life exactly as it is.

As we move, we are invited to focus on the strength, resilience and wisdom accumulated through the years, appreciating the body's remarkable capacity rather than judging its limitations. There is only one age we can ever truly be, the age we are now.

The body changes, the seasons change, and the years pass, yet beneath every wrinkle, every grey hair and every story lived, the same awareness shines through our eyes. Yoga reminds us that every breath is a gift, every movement an expression of gratitude, and every day an opportunity to be fully here, alive, and connected to the richness of this moment.
