Hello beautiful people! 👋

A little bit about the challenge:
Adam Brown will be running a half marathon every day for 21 days
🏃‍♂️ THEN
Running 106km at the ultra event at Kosciuszko after a 5 day break.

That’s clocking 547km 🏁

Which is the same distance as running from his home, to Thredbo 🤯

So I’m here to help rally support, to keep his body fighting fit, working with the 1% ers that make the difference and asking you to donate whatever you wish to in order to support men’s health and to support Adam in this quest!

World Breastfeeding Week 🍼

Success in breastfeeding requires effort and planning, just because it is natural does not always mean it is easy.
Breastfeeding can be full of surprises and challenges. We know from personal and clinical experience!

Of the 96% of women who begin breastfeeding at birth, by six months only a third are still breastfeeding. This is not an issue with intention, but rather a gap in support that impacts breastfeeding outcomes.

Finding the right team to help can make a world of difference in finding your feet, managing the hiccups and giving you the direction you need to support you and your family best.

If you chose not to breastfeed or stopped earlier than you wanted, we see you and we love you! There are so many reasons we see people move to formula for, but too often we hear that breastfeeding was too hard and a lack of support was a huge factor in that choice. Supporting women in this journey improves many health outcomes for mother and baby. Unfortunately, difficulty in accessing care for many women across the world interrupts the breastfeeding success rate.

Breastfeeding should be exclusive for the first six months of age and continued up to and beyond two years old, for the benefit of mother and baby. This is the recommendation from the World Health Organization and worldwide breastfeeding associations.

Not Just for Spines 🩻

The issues that walk through the door are varied, sometimes complex, chronic or acute, co-morbidities galore, sport related, work related, lifestyle related. It’s all just part of being a healthcare provider.

Most of the time, it’s beyond the spine, even if it’s related. Our training goes beyond the spine and so do all our patients.

Commonly, Chiro gets thought of as spinal only care. That can be true, but it’s a generalisation and one I’m calling out.

Whether you choose Physio or Chiro is up to you and the practitioner who suits you, and that’s cool ✌️

This took 7 takes of stabbing myself, so I hope at least one person enjoys this 🤣

Although you all think I get a lot of joy out of needling you. I assure you I’ve had my fair share of them too! 🪡

In the clinic I personally recommend the modality that I think best serves the issue at play and will meet our combined goals.

If needling is not for you, that’s okay! It’s just one tool we have, there’s plenty of other options.
