We'd like to introduce Callan Beacroft, our new Remedial Massage Therapist at Richmond Rehab.

Callan holds an Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage from RMIT and brings a genuinely unique background to the table. As a former elite circus acrobat, he has navigated serious injury and recovery himself. That shapes how he works with patients.

Available Tuesday and Thursday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings.

We are offering $100 for a 1 hour introductory appointment for new bookings made before 1 July. Our standard rate increases to $130/hr from that date.

Book online at richmondrehab.com.au or call 1300 559 600.

“The pain is real.”

Not the patient’s pain.
The physio pain of trying to connect the dots when symptoms make absolutely no sense.

Somewhere between biomechanics, load management, sleep, stress, strength deficits and “it only hurts on Thursdays after tennis”… we’ll figure it out eventually.

Most people have heard of the rotator cuff. Not many can actually tell you what it is or where it sits.

Your rotator cuff is four muscles working together to keep your shoulder stable and moving properly. In this video Jesse breaks down each one, where it is, and what it does.

If you have had a shoulder injury or you are just trying to understand your body a bit better, this one is worth a couple of minutes.

Saad El-Hawli picking up a shoulder injury recently got Jesse thinking about the AC joint.

It is one of the most commonly injured structures in AFL and contact sport, and most people have no idea where it even sits.

In this video Jesse explains what the AC joint is, where to find it, and the two most common ways it gets injured on the field. Good viewing if you play any contact sport or have had shoulder trouble before.
