A fantastic day of learning and networking at the Essity JOBST Advanced Workshop today.

It’s always valuable to connect with colleagues and continue building knowledge to better support our patients.

A big thank you to Ellen and Dan for such an informative and well-run workshop.

The learning didn’t stop there! It was followed by a webinar with Dr Stephanie Lam titled “What’s That Swelling? Differentiating Lymphoedema, Chronic Oedema and Lipoedema.”

Understanding the differences between these conditions is so important for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

💙 It’s Lymphoedema Awareness Week 💙

Lymphoedema affects thousands of Australians, yet many people are still unsure about what it is, how it develops, or where to seek the right support.

Lymphoedema is a chronic condition that causes swelling due to a compromised lymphatic system. Without appropriate management, it can progress and significantly impact comfort, mobility, and quality of life.
That’s why it’s so important to seek evidence-based assessment and treatment from an accredited lymphoedema practitioner. Accredited therapists have completed advanced training in lymphatic assessment and therapy, ensuring you receive care that is safe, effective, and tailored to your individual needs.
