Explaining the Changes to Mind and Matters:
After raising four children and beginning her working life as a bank teller, Francine later pursued her passion for understanding human behaviour through mature-age study. In 2013, she graduated with first-class honours from Curtin University, completing a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours. She went on to complete an internship and was registered as a General Psychologist for several years (2021-2026).
Francine’s professional journey has included a range of roles across education, community services, and mental health. She has worked as a school counsellor in both primary and secondary settings, supported children and families as an inclusion support officer, and assisted individuals facing long-term unemployment and disability within employment services. She later worked as a counsellor with Relationships Australia before establishing her own private practice.
In 2017, following the sudden loss of her husband, Francine experienced firsthand the profound impact of grief and trauma. This deeply personal experience led her to explore healing beyond traditional talk-based therapy, discovering the importance of mind–body approaches in supporting recovery, regulation, and reconnection.
Over time, Francine recognized a growing need to step away from the demands of clinical practice and the sole responsibility of holding space for complex therapeutic work. This shift has allowed her to realign with a more sustainable, holistic way of supporting others... one that honours both practitioner wellbeing and the diverse ways people heal.
Francine now offers a range of holistic mind–body services, including women’s circles, mindfulness meditation, and positive, growth-focused workshops. Her work is grounded in her extensive background in psychology, while embracing a broader, more integrative approach to wellbeing that supports mutual self-care, connection, and personal healing.
