In Restorative Yoga we use props to support the body and encourage the experience of full comfort.
The aim is not to stretch, strengthen or balance but to allow the therapeutic effects of a deeply relaxed and gentle yoga practice to wash all over the body.
As a result we feel safe, supported, and cared for.

Arnie, a little friend of mine (pictured below) already knows those benefits well.
He loves resting with lots of cushionening and blanket support.
