🚺 Rest isn't a reward you earn after doing enough, and it's never a sign of weakness. For those living with chronic pain, rest is often complicated: too little and pain builds, too much and the body loses ground. Today we're talking about rest as a genuine part of care, not something to feel guilty about, and not something that has to look a certain way. Whatever rest looks like for you today, it's valid, and it counts. ✨ 🫖 📖💕

Movement looks different for every single one of us! And that's exactly how it should be!! 💕 It's not about the gym or what our girlfriends are doing. It's about finding what feels possible in your day to day. The evidence shows that everyday movement, built into your life in whatever way works for you, has real benefits for your physical health, mental wellbeing and energy 🪷 We know there are real barriers too, including pain, energy and time. We want to hold space for all of that and for all of you. ✨

Check out Day 2 resources from Jean Hailes via there website which is linked in our bio!

This was what we made of day one “fuel”. Let’s celebrate the imperfection.

Food out of a box, food out of a jar, food from the farm, shortcuts, slow-cooked…it’s all fuel.

Today we celebrate how we resource up in the busy, in the compromised, in the overwhelm, in the shadows, and in the sunshine (thank you sun for coming out in Melbourne today!).

Our day ended with a packet of mint slices 🫶🏻

What is your favourite way to fuel?

Big love 🥰 EVP x

We are very proud to be a part of this extraordinary initiative.

The Kids and Teens Pelvic Pain Clinical Network officially launched this Wednesday.

We are excited to see how the addition of the Network supports young Victorians in their pelvic pain journey.

We will share socials through Evolving Pain but if you know of any young person with pelvic pain please spread the word 🫶🏻

We had a really great time in Creswick last weekend with Lorimer and Pain Revolution!

A very thought provoking weekend with great company and ridiculously good cookies!

I feel so grateful to collaborate every day with such incredible people at Evolving Pain and in the broader pain community.

Learn. Do. Connect. Repeat.
