Simple As Pi Yoga Meditation

Simple As Pi Yoga Meditation ☀️ A space for real people, real lives and a genuine exhale ~ Shelley, WA & Online ☀️ C-IAYT Yoga Therapist I’d love to hear from you.

Here, you will enjoy both private and small group classes that are open to all levels of ability. I am a qualified Yoga Therapist so all my classes are therapeutically informed. Each week, I design a new yoga sequence that incorporates a variety of movements and relaxation techniques, and emphasises mindfulness and breath awareness. My teaching style is gentle, completely non-judgemental, and info

rmed by the latest research in human anatomy and yoga therapy. Fun and functional, for everyday life

When you join me for a yoga class, my aim is to enable you to:
🔵Practise at your level of ability
🔵Gently build strength and stability
🔵Release stress and tension
🔵Learn breathwork and meditation techniques
🔵Connect with your body and mind
🔵Increase your sense of well-being

Most importantly, I want you to enjoy your yoga practice and experience the flow-on benefits of yoga in your daily life. To find out more about Simple As Pi yoga classes, or to enrol in a yoga class, get in touch with me today. Heather Robbins

One day Luna may be ready to join us in the yoga space, don't worry I'm working on it 😆

This week's classes carried with them the energy of the Sun, Surya, and a set of Sun Salutations.

It felt perfect as we inch close and closer to spring 🌼🌱
Happy Friday!

Happy Yoga Therapy Day 🌿

A practice that has been instrumental in my own experience of chronic illness and has supported me in more ways than I could possibly list here.

This week we explored the challenge of Revolved Triangle...and wow, what a challenge it was!

I found myself bouncing around a little more in class this week too, as the sequence seemed to bring with it a little extra energy. I can only speak for my own experience, but it was lovely to see you all moving, exploring and sharing your feedback about what it feels like to take the body into more challenging ranges of motion.

Perhaps that’s one of the things I love most about Yoga Therapy. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. We get to explore, notice and respond to what our own bodies are telling us.

Happy Friday 🤍
And Happy Yoga Therapy Day.

✨ It's already Week 3 of our beautiful Winter Term, and today I'm sharing a few insights into this week's sequence and our theme of **A Season of Gentle Strength**.

The introduction of resistance bands has brought such a lovely new dimension to our practice. Exploring movement both with and without the bands has been gentle, supportive, and so much fun.

It's been a beautiful reminder that strength doesn't always have to be intense. Sometimes it grows quietly—through awareness, consistency, and moving with kindness towards ourselves.

I'm already thoroughly enjoying this term and watching everyone discover new confidence in their bodies. I can't wait to see what the coming weeks bring. 💚

📚 August Feature Book 📚

This month, our featured book is Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.

A beautifully written story of resilience, loneliness, belonging, and our deep connection with the natural world, it's a novel that lingers long after you've turned the final page!

If you've read it, I'd love to hear what you thought. And if it's been sitting on your "to be read" pile, perhaps August is the perfect time to dive in.

Happy reading! 💚

🍃 Our little Book Swap is quietly growing... and it makes me smile every time I walk past it.

Over the past few weeks, more and more books have found their way onto the shelf, each one waiting patiently for its next reader. 📚

If you're coming along to class, feel free to browse, borrow a book that catches your eye, or leave one you've loved for someone else to discover.

It's a small way we can share stories, inspiration, and a little kindness within our yoga community.

✨ July's featured read: Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë.

Have you read it? I'd love to know what you thought!

Happy reading,
Heather 💚
