🫁 Vaccination Changes from July 1st – What You Need to Know

Did you know that pneumonia can be a serious illness, especially for older adults and people with certain health conditions?

Pneumonia is an infection of the lungs that can make breathing difficult and may lead to hospitalisation or serious complications.

From 1 July, changes to the National Immunisation Program (NIP) mean more Australians may be eligible for protection against pneumococcal disease, a common cause of pneumonia.

Who is at higher risk?
✔️ Adults aged 65 years and over
✔️ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
✔️ People with certain chronic medical conditions or weakened immune systems

The updated recommendations may mean you or a loved one are now eligible for a funded vaccine.

Job Title: Part-Time Retail Pharmacist-In-Charge (Short-Term Contract)

Location: Reid’s Pharmacy, 92-96 Maude St, Shepparton VIC 3630

Contract Duration: 6 months

Hours: Part-time (Tuesday & Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm, including approx. 1 Saturday Shift per month)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Pharmacist to join our team on a short-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified pharmacist looking for flexible, part-time work in a supportive retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in line with regulations (Fred dispense software)
Provide professional advice on medications, health products, and general wellbeing
Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships
Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and legal requirements
Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, including stock management
About You

Registered Pharmacist with current registration and no restrictions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
Pharmacist Immuniser preferred
