Skin ChX brings professional skin cancer screening directly to workplaces, using dermoscopy and structured clinical assessment to help identify changes early.

Our workplace programs can also include education, screening, referral and follow-up, giving employers a more complete approach to workplace skin health.

From Perth offices to mining, FIFO and regional worksites across WA, we make screening easier to fit into the working day.

Yes, melanoma can develop on the back, and it’s one of those areas that can be easy to overlook.

Because you can’t easily see your back yourself, changes can sometimes go unnoticed. This is why a full skin assessment is important, particularly if you have a history of significant UV exposure.

Keep an eye out for a new or changing spot, changes in colour or shape, or anything that looks different from the other spots on your skin.

You don’t need to try to work out what a spot is yourself. If something looks unusual, have it properly assessed by a Skin Cancer Screening Practitioner.

When was the last time someone checked your back?

A little glimpse of Exmouth from the road. 🌅

One of the things I love about this work is getting to see the different places and communities across Western Australia.

From Exmouth to the Pilbara, Esperance and other regional and remote areas, Skin ChX travels to make skin cancer screening more accessible to the people who live and work outside the metro area.

Every trip is about more than the destination. It’s about the people, the workplaces, and the communities we get to support along the way.

Where should we head next? Tell us below.

Good skin cancer screening starts with good knowledge. 🩺Staying connected with organisations such as the Skin Cancer College Australasia is part of continuing professional development and keeping up with current approaches to skin cancer diagnosis and management.

For Skin ChX, learning doesn’t stop. It’s an important part of maintaining the knowledge and skills needed to provide professional skin cancer screening across Western Australia.

From Perth to the Pilbara, Esperance and other regional and remote locations, the goal remains the same: making high-quality screening more accessible.

Professional development matters because the people we screen deserve our best.

Tattoos can make it harder to notice changes in the skin underneath. 🔍

If you have tattoos, it’s still important to pay attention to any new, changing, bleeding, or non-healing areas within the tattooed skin.

You know your skin better than anyone. If something looks or feels different, don’t simply assume it’s part of the tattoo.

A proper skin assessment can help determine whether an area needs further attention.

We know there’s already a lot to manage when you’re responsible for a workplace and a team.

But looking after your people doesn’t always have to mean adding another complicated process. 🩺

Onsite skin cancer screening makes it easier for employees to access professional skin checks during the working day, whether your team is in a Perth office, on a mining site, FIFO, or working across regional and remote WA.

It’s a simple way to support workplace wellbeing, encourage early detection, and make skin health part of your existing health culture.

To organise onsite screening for your workplace, get in touch or visit our website.

The Kimberley is one of the many regional areas I travel to as part of Skin ChX, bringing professional skin cancer screening closer to the people who need it.

With long distances and high UV exposure across regional WA, it can be easy to put a skin check off. But access shouldn’t depend on your postcode.

I’m proud to keep travelling across WA and supporting workplaces and communities with onsite screening.

Know a workplace or community in the Kimberley that could benefit from skin cancer screening? Share this with them.

Another onsite screening visit in Karratha.

The Quarter HQ brings together organisations across the Pilbara, and it’s a great example of why onsite screening can make such a difference for regional workplaces.

Instead of asking employees to travel elsewhere for a skin check, professional screening can be brought directly to the workplace.

From Karratha and the Pilbara to Perth and other regional and remote locations across WA, Skin ChX is making skin cancer screening more accessible to the people who need it.

Does your workplace need onsite screening? Get in touch or visit our website to find out more.

Another trip, another workplace to reach.

For Skin ChX, onsite screening means going beyond Perth and travelling to the regional and remote workplaces where teams live and work.

From airports and mine sites to ports, corporate workplaces and regional communities, we’re making professional skin cancer screening more accessible across Western Australia. 🩺

For workers who spend long hours outdoors or in high UV environments, having access to regular screening shouldn’t depend on how close you are to a clinic.

Get in touch or visit our website to find out how onsite screening can work for your team.
