TRANSPERSONAL ART THERAPIST & COUNSELLOR
I'm qualified Transpersonal Art Therapist and Counsellor. I help people reclaim joy through creativity. I offer one-to-one online tranpsersonal art therapy and counselling sessions to adults.

This is a gentle, creative space for self-discovery and healing. Art therapy utilises a mix of art making and counselling to explore the deeper layers of your inner world—beyond words and surface stories. You don’t need any art experience, just a willingness to be curious.

Transpersonal art therapy supports you to reconnect with lost parts of yourself, make meaning from your experiences, and feel more grounded, whole, and aligned. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply craving something more, these sessions offer a safe and compassionate space to explore what’s calling you—at your own pace.

If you are curious about working together please get in touch to book a free 15 mins discovery call where we can see if we are good fit.

"Just do more self-care." 🙃

I love self-care, but let’s be real: meditation and art making are meant to nourish your spirit, not extinguish the fire of an over-scheduled, burnt-out life. You can't self-care your way out of a system that's draining you.

It can't even keep you stuck in a loop of self blame "I do so self care, but it doesn't seem to help." Even if you can't muster the energy the do any self care, it's helpful to look both inside and out for the clues to what might be bogging you down before thinking you need to do more self care that might just be busy work that never addresses the root of the issue.

Does this ever happen to you?

You finally set aside the time, settle into your spot with a project, and then your head takes over. You sit there mentally running through five different ways to begin, and ten minutes later, you put it all away.

It’s easy to walk away and tell yourself you’re lazy, unprepared, or creatively blocked. But staying up in your head is often just a protective shield against the scary vulnerability of making a choice with no step-by-step instructions.

I’ve just written a new blog post called Living Above the Neck to explore what’s might be happening underneath this loop. If you feel like overthinking is no longer serving you, you might find the reflections helpful.

Perhaps this sounds familiar. You finally get the time to tend to yourself. Maybe you wanted to make something, move your body, or just sit down with a project you have been dreaming about.

And suddenly, there is a tightness in your chest.

You have been waiting for this moment, yet you feel frozen. Something feels... wrong? Or not quite right.

Perhaps you've been locked into a ongoing churn of tasks, over-giving, and sending our energy outwards. The over-scheduled calendar exhausts you, but it gives you structure. It gives you deadlines and a clear wall to lean on.

When you finally step into that free space, all that openness feels terrifying. What if it is simply because there is no structure to hold you there?

This is not about turning your creativity into another task on a list. It is about catching yourself in that exact moment and asking with genuine curiosity:

Who is showing up right now that is worried about all this space? Who is worried they won't know what to do with the time they finally made for themselves?

In my 1:1 transpersonal art therapy practice, this is the work we do together. I work with people who are exhausted from overgiving, feeling disconnected from their creative spark, and finding themselves constantly stuck in patterns of busyness, overthinking, and self-blame.

"I'll feel better when I finally fix this."

Bad news: there is no "there." Good news: "here" is the place to be.

On the blog, I’m demystifying transpersonal art therapy—breaking down what actually happens in a session and how it helps us move out of our heads, start to process and work with non-verbal content, and find grounding in the present moment again and again.
