Pins and needles aren’t always the same—and where you feel them can tell us a lot about what’s going on.

In this video, I take you through three simple nerve flossing exercises, each targeting a different area of the hand depending on where you’re experiencing those symptoms.

These exercises can be a great place to start, but if your pins and needles are persistent, getting worse, or keep coming back, it’s important to book in with your physio or GP to find the underlying cause.

Save this for later, or send it to someone who’s always shaking out their hands. 👋

Caring for a newborn is one of the most rewarding jobs you’ll ever have, but it can also be surprisingly demanding on your body.

From hours of feeding and cuddling to lifting, carrying, rocking and endless nappy changes, it’s common for new parents to notice aches and pains in their neck, shoulders, wrists and lower back.

Recovery doesn’t start with treatment.
It starts with understanding.

Your first appointment isn’t just about where it hurts. It’s about learning how the injury happened, what your day-to-day looks like, what you’re trying to get back to, and how your body has been responding along the way.

The more complete the picture, the more tailored your treatment can be.

Because no two injuries are exactly the same, and no two people are either.

Whether your goal is getting back to sport, work, or simply moving without pain, it all starts with asking the right questions.

In this episode of This or That: Physio Edition, Baz has to blindly pick an injury… and today, it’s Runner’s Knee.

If you’ve been dealing with pain around the front of your knee when running, going up or down stairs, or even after sitting for long periods, these simple exercises may help settle things down temporarily.

Just remember: pain relief isn’t the same as solving the problem. Runner’s knee can have a number of contributing factors, which is why an individual assessment is always the best place to start.
