Help us better understand what's important to our community.

We're inviting Aspect clients and families to complete our first survey about their experiences, what they value in a service provider, and what helps build trust in an organisation.

Your feedback will help us identify what's working well, where we can improve, and how we can continue to support our community in meaningful ways.

⏱️ The survey takes around 15 minutes and responses are anonymous.

🌭 More than $2,000 raised! What a fantastic effort! 🎉

A huge congratulations to our Autistic participants and staff at Aspect Adult Community Services (ACS) Hawthorn, who made Saturday's Bunnings sausage sizzle such a success!

From designing the flyer to cooking sausages, serving customers and chatting with the community, everyone played a part.

Together, they raised more than $2,000 to help create new opportunities for Autistic adults at ACS Hawthorn. 🧡

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported our team.

Sometimes it can feel like everyone else has things figured out. That they're handling life's challenges with confidence while you're still trying to work out the next step.

The truth is that uncertainty, self-doubt and difficult days are part of being human. For Autistic people, these experiences can be made harder by barriers, misunderstandings and challenges accessing the right support.

For World Mental Health Day, we've shared practical insights from autism research about building a mental wellbeing toolkit. The blog explores how self-compassion, gratitude, connection and support can help us navigate life's ups and downs.

It also includes free, research-informed resources co-designed with Autistic people to support wellbeing at different stages of life.

Dysregulation doesn’t always come “out of nowhere”. It can be the nervous system communicating that things have become too much.

In the latest episode of a different brilliant®, host Madeleine Jaine Lobsey - Wondiverse is joined by Belinda Duncombe, Teacher and Leader of Learning and Wellbeing at Aspect South East Sydney School, and Louise Farrugia, Occupational Therapist at Aspect Therapy, to explore what dysregulation can look and feel like for Autistic people.

Together, they discuss how sensory, cognitive, social and communication demands can build throughout the day, and share practical ways to support regulation, from recognising early signs of overwhelm to increasing predictability, reducing demands and understanding the individual.

“The support has been phenomenal!” ❤️

After a long homeschooling journey, Luke and his family chose Aspect Distance Education to provide Finlay with more connection, routine and structure.

Luke says Finlay benefited from learning online and developed skills that have supported his transition to spending a couple of days learning on campus.

He has also become more social, active and connected with others.

Finlay’s story shows that education pathways do not have to look the same for every student.
