Kerry Strong presented Cultural Inclusion Frameworks as Drivers of Culturally Safe Environments

Co-authored with Susanne Kable, this presentation explored HealthWISE's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Inclusion Framework and shared how the Framework has been embedded across the organisation.

In a follow up to HealthWISE's presentation to the 20222 NRHC, delegates heard how a structured, organisation-wide approach to cultural inclusion can help create culturally safe services, strengthen governance, and improve outcomes for communities.

Building a Rural Allied Health Workforce Through Innovative Student Placements

Presented by Scott Gartshore, this session highlighted HealthWISE's student placement model and its role in attracting, developing and retaining health professionals in rural Australia.

The presentation demonstrated how partnerships with universities and flexible placement pathways are helping strengthen the future rural workforce while delivering benefits to local communities.

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Mental Health Clinicians in headspace Tamworth. The successful candidates will work alongside other Mental Health Clinicians to deliver high-quality mental health services. This includes working under supervision within professional practice standards and guidelines set by headspace Tamworth and HealthWISE.

About You:
⭐ Relevant qualification in Psychology, Social Work, OT or Mental Health Nursing
⭐ AHPRA registration or AASW membership required
⭐ Knowledge of National Mental Health Standards
⭐ Strong organisational and time management abilities
