This Book Week, we’ve celebrating the wonderful world of books and the important role they play for our residents in keeping their minds active. 📖✨
Whether it’s reading a book yourself or listening to an audio, there are so many benefits to a good story and the imagination it brings.

We’re very grateful for our wonderful volunteers who run our onsite library, which is available for all residents, staff, IRL and the community to visit and borrow books.
A special thank you to our amazing staff who brought some of our favourite characters to life! 🩵

Technology meets Tradition ✨
We’re embracing innovative technology to create richer, more meaningful experiences for our residents.
In partnership with NeuronsVR and Lambert Estate Wines, we’ve launched the Barossa Winery Experience—an immersive virtual reality journey celebrating one of our region’s most treasured industries.
For many residents, the vineyards and wineries of the Barossa are part of their own life story. Through VR, they can reconnect with familiar places, cherished memories and the traditions that helped shape our region.
Innovation isn’t just about technology—it’s about using it to preserve memories, celebrate local heritage and strengthen human connection.

Celebrating the world’s oldest living culture, one meaningful moment at a time.

This NAIDOC Week, our residents embraced the stories, traditions and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through a week filled with learning, creativity and connection.

Residents enjoyed listening to Dreamtime stories, creating traditional dot paintings and hand-crafted rain sticks, exploring the Kuranda Rainforest through virtual reality, watching the inspiring film Rabbit-Proof Fence, and sampling delicious native bush tucker, including lemon myrtle panna cotta and a delicious native Quandong stewed fruit served with ice cream.

A special thank you to one of our wonderful volunteers for creating a beautiful cultural display that became the heart of our celebrations, and to our dedicated team and volunteers who helped make the week such a meaningful experience.

Together, we celebrated, reflected and honoured the oldest continuous living culture on Earth. ❤️

Boot scootin’ fun! 🤠
Our staff had a fantastic time celebrating a country western day this week, dressing up in boots and denim.
Staff entertained us with their line dancing skills, encouraging residents to join in on the fun - whether that was tapping along from their seats or getting up to share a dance with a partner. It was a wonderful way to share laughter and create memorable moments together. ✨

💙 ….together for Blue Day 💙
Today, proudly showing support for people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), residents and staff came together for Blue Day 2026 - Fighting MND.
Dressed in shades of blue, our community united to raise awareness and funds that help improve care for those affected by MND, while supporting vital research into better treatments and a cure.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and donated. Every contribution, big or small, helps make a difference.
Together, we are raising awareness, supporting those impacted by MND, and helping to bring hope for a brighter future.
💙 💙
