Sometimes words like these remind us exactly why the Toowoomba Hospice is such a special place. πŸ’œπŸ¦‹

We were incredibly touched when Tony shared the beautiful words below about the care his mum received during her five weeks with us.

For our staff and volunteers, caring for someone at the end of their life is so much more than providing clinical care. It is about compassion, dignity, kindness and being there not only for our clients, but also for their families and loved ones during what can be one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Tony, thank you for allowing us to share your heartfelt words. It was an absolute privilege to care for your mum and to be there for you and your family.

Feedback like this means an enormous amount to our entire Hospice team and reinforces why the work we do, in partnership with our community, is so important.
