While we're excited for the upcoming Olympic Games, the Access Support Services team has it's own exciting changes about to light up..... (see comments for a sneak peak!)

🟢🟡 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻! 🟢🟡

Today Townsville will join communities across Queensland in celebrating 𝟲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟮 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 by lighting up local landmarks in 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗱.

This is more than a milestone. It's a chance to celebrate community pride, build excitement, and be part of Queensland's Games story as we look ahead to welcoming the world in 2032.

Our Ayr participants, Michael and Kerri, have been making the most of the beautiful weather with a fun day at the park! From enjoying the fresh air to racing down the slides, it’s been wonderful to see them out and about, creating happy memories together.

At Access Support Services, we believe every day is an opportunity to connect, explore, and have fun. It’s wonderful to see Michael and Kerri doing just that!

Here’s to many more adventures, smiles, and sunny days ahead! 😎

At our July Monthly Sausage Sizzle, we added a little extra excitement with our lucky door prize giveaway—and congratulations to Lynette, who was our lucky winner! 🎁

Lynette was thrilled to receive her prize, with Chris presenting her with her gift package after her name was selected from our lucky dip raffle. It was wonderful to see her excitement and the joy that a small surprise can bring.

We are excited to continue including lucky door prizes at our future BBQs and events.

Congratulations, Lynette! We hope you enjoy your prize. 😁

At our July Monthly Sausage Sizzle, we had the pleasure of recognising two incredible members of the Access Support Services team for their dedication and commitment.

Congratulations to Colleen, who received our Above and Beyond Award in recognition of the outstanding way she strengthens teamwork and collaborative service delivery. Colleen consistently goes the extra mile to support both her colleagues and the people we serve, and we are proud to celebrate her well-deserved achievement.

We also want to recognise Denise, who was awarded a 5 Years of Service Award. Although Denise couldn't join us on the day, we couldn't let this milestone go unrecognised. Thank you, Denise, for five years of dedication, care, and commitment to our organisation and the community we support.

What a sizzling success! 🌭

Our July Sausage Sizzle brought our Access Support Services community together for an afternoon filled with great food, even better conversations, and plenty of smiles.

From catching up with friends to making new connections, it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying each other's company and creating more special memories together.

Thanks to everyone who joined us—we love seeing our community grow stronger, one sausage sizzle at a time! We can't wait to do it all again next month. 😊
