Townsville Independence Program for Adult Community Living Inc is a not for profit organisation based in Townsville that has been providing quality services to people with disability since 1987. We support individuals in a way that reflects their individual needs and circumstances. Our service provision is based on a person centered approach where the people we support are at the centre of all ser

vice decisions. We work with individuals and their families in tailored programs where the majority of support is one-to-one. Staff support individuals in accessing the community and integration into recreational, vocational and educational activities. Individuals who have accommodation support are supported in living in their own homes and developing life skills and community networks.

📍 Last week, Gabby and Sarah had the opportunity to represent TIPACL at the NDS State and Territory Conference in Brisbane.

With the theme "Insights to Action," the conference brought together leaders and professionals from across the disability sector to explore emerging challenges, share innovative ideas, and discuss practical strategies for strengthening services and supporting positive outcomes.

Attending events like these allows our team to stay informed, connect with others in the sector, and bring valuable learnings back to TIPACL to support continuous improvement and innovation.

We're proud to invest in learning and development and look forward to putting these insights into action as we continue helping people live the life they choose. 💙💚
