2. What inspired you to get into a support role?
My passion for helping people and making a difference in people’s daily lives.

3. What can participants and their families expect from you?
Participants and families can expect from me to be reliable, supportive, trustworthy and compassionate.

4. What do you love most about support work?
I love support work as every day is different. Making a positive difference in people’s lives and building a genuine connection and helping them reach their goals. I like trying new experiences and stepping out of my comfort zone.

5. Fun fact about yourself!
I love listening to music and being around my family and friends in my spare time. I'm caring by nature and love caring for other people.

Family and friends told me I should try it because I’d be really good for it, also hearing stories from my partner after her shifts really got me wanting to try.

Being able to help others and seeing the smiles on their faces - it’s so rewarding.

I was born an uncle!

A day of kindness, from farm to shelter

Our brief today for our client was simple but heartfelt goal for his day — giving back to animals and the people who care for them.

The day started at B&M Flower Farm in Lang Lang, where he picked up fresh flowers (and made friends with three gorgeous highland calves along the way!). From there, it was on to the RSPCA in Burwood East, where he proudly handed over his flowers and a donation to the team, before spending time visiting the dogs, cats and small animals — even getting some quality playtime in with a few furry new friends.

Days like this are a beautiful reminder of what community participation is really about — connection, generosity and a whole lot of joy.

I’m a mum of two girls and love spending time with my family. I can never say no to a Kmart trip!
