Care for your contact lenses to see the difference!

Proper contact lens care is key to keeping your eyes healthy and your vision clear.

Here are a few tips:

👏 Always wash your hands before handling lenses.
💧 Clean and store lenses as directed.
💤 Avoid sleeping in your contact lenses.
⌛Replace lenses as recommended - using them beyond their lifespan can cause discomfort and increase the risk of infection.

This Daffodil Day, we join the conversation around cancer awareness and support while shining a light on eye cancer.

Although eye cancer is less common than many other forms of cancer, it can affect people of all ages and may not always present noticeable symptoms.

One of the most common forms of eye cancer in adults is ocular melanoma, which usually develops in the middle layer of the eye, known as the uvea.

Regular eye examinations can play an important role in monitoring eye health and identifying changes within the eye that may require further assessment.

This Daffodil Day, take a moment to learn more about eye cancer, support those affected by cancer and prioritise your eye health.

It’s Fun Fact Friday! ✨

Did you know that each human eye contains over two million working parts and processes around 36,000 pieces of information every single hour?

Our eyes do so much more than just help us see - they’re incredible, complex organs that deserve care and attention.

That’s why looking after your vision is so important!

Hey there - Don’t forget to blink! 👀

Spending prolonged periods using screens? You’re not alone.

Screen use can reduce your blink rate by more than 60%, often leading to dry eyes, irritation, and digital eye strain.

Place a sticky note by your computer while you work or even set an alarm! Just remind yourself to consciously blink more when using screens!

✨ Last week, we headed to the Gold Coast for the ProVision PRISM Conference!

It was an inspiring few days connecting with fellow eyecare professionals and our amazing suppliers. The weekend was filled with fresh ideas, stunning frames, valuable insights, practical strategies, and wellness.

We're always looking for ways to improve, and this conference gave us plenty of inspiration to help ensure our patients continue to receive the very best eyecare!

We're excited to bring these new ideas back to our practice and continue giving our patients an outstanding experience every time they visit.
