The first person from the shelter to receive the youth service award makes this all so much more special!

𝐀𝐃𝐇𝐒 𝐎𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝!

Ontario Volunteer Service Awards were presented by MPP Brian Saunderson on Wednesday night to seven long- time ADHS volunteers: 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫, 𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐇𝐞𝐢𝐝𝐢 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐫, 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚, 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐕𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐞𝐮𝐰𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐚 𝐙𝐚𝐩𝐥𝐞 .

ADHS would not function without dedicated volunteers like this year's recipients! A special shout out to Liv Zaple, our first youth volunteer service winner for her work in creating and promoting Liv’s library at the shelter, a reading program for children.

Liv’s Library is incredibly grateful to Domino’s Alliston for their incredibly generous donation of 15 gift certificates for large, 3-topping pizzas, with a total approximate value of $375! 🎉🍕

This is such an amazing contribution to Liv’s upcoming fundraiser in support of the Alliston & District Humane Society. 🐾❤️

We are so lucky to have local businesses who are willing to step up and support a 10-year-old girl who is using her love of reading and animals to make a difference in her community. 📚🐱
