My May has proven to be a very busy month, so I'm going to have to take a hiatus with posting daily tarot readings. I will be back some time in June.

Our Lesson this week with the Sacred Rebels Oracle deck is Big Bold Vision. Now is not the time to shrink away and surrender. Now is the time to embrace your biggest and boldest dreams and stand proud in them.

This week's wheel is indicating that a lot of us have been dealing with being beaten down, dismissed, or just treated like less than for far too long. To the point that maybe we just don't believe that we deserve what we need, let alone what we want.

It's time to break free from this limited kind of thinking and aim for those dreams we have only ever viewed as fantasy. Because you deserve far more than you were ever led to believe!

Believe in yourself and all that you hold to be true in your heart. Trust your gut instinct when something doesn't feel right to you. And speak out about it, bring it out into the light where it will have to be acknowledged. The work you are doing for yourself right now doesn't just heal yourself, it contributes to future generations and the collective we are all part of whether we know it or not.

The Queen of Swords as our Healing card indicates that you will finally be able to see the whole story with clarity and understanding. The clouds have finally cleared, and you can see the horizon.

She does not forget the wrongs done to her. Her judgements may seem cold and final, but they are fair. Because she has weighed all the sides and understands we all make mistakes and we are all humans.

With this in mind, this experience you are in right now may have some tough decisions to make in the end. For your own health and safety you will have to make some final and hard rules for yourself. This may mean cutting unhealthy people out of your life that either hurt you or enable bad habits. This may mean never returning to certain places or never doing certain things ever again.

It's time for some tough love and self-parenting to heal from this struggle that needs to end.

Our Manifestation card, the Five of Swords, is about betrayal and deceit. Two things that very well may have been factors is this long struggle mentioned in our Vision this week. But if we take the advice of our Power card this week (the Lovers), then this will be what we will be finally able to overcome.

You could be feeling defeated or helpless this past little while. Maybe due to suffering from bullying or violence, emotionally or physically. It may feel all so very unfair. But this card's appearance is not signaling surrender in this week's wheel. Paired with our first two cards this week, it would seem this injustice is what will finally be rectified.

But remember, we are not sinking down into malice and revenge. That would be playing their game. Stand strong in your power and what you believe in, in what you love and know to be true. It may get harder before it gets better, but you have already come so far.

As our Power card, the Lovers is asking you to take a leap of faith.

This card is about love and romance on the surface. And duality, opposites, choices and balance as we look deeper. How does this relate to our Vision this week of persevering through the last stretch of a long struggle?

It's those last ditch efforts and choices we make when we feel like we have run out of fuel. What do we base them on? How do we make them? Follow your heart.

No one's outside advice is going to sway your decisions. No social structure or dogma is going to guide you at this point. Listen to what you believe and feel to be ultimate truths for yourself. You're looking at life through a lense of what is important to you.

The answers can be found in what you love the most.

Our Vision card this week, the Nine of Wands, sees us standing in a place along our journey where we have already been through so much. Yet here you still stand. You have whethered it all.

What has gotten you to this point is your persistence and perseverance. This card is telling you not to give up now. Remember what got you here to this point and what you have overcome, then use it to see yourself through.

This weeks will be the last leg of a long journey. Many things you have been dealing with for a long time might finally end or be resolved. Stick to it and you will find your answers.

And we come to our Lesson with the Sacred Rebels Oracle with Trust Yourself! This card perfectly sums up everything I have read with all the cards in this weeks Medicine Wheel!

Whatever you might be going through or dealing with in life right now, trust yourself. If things are feeling difficult or easy, trust yourself.

If in this very moment you feel like things are not getting better or changing, they are. Growth is rarely observable in a short span of time. And it usually feels unstable and uncomfortable, not glorious and triumphant.

Don't shame yourself for making mistakes, give yourself time to learn from them. Let go of all the self-doubt and anxiousness, it will only slow down your progress and disconnect you from everything happening around you.

Have faith in yourself and the magical timing of it all. I like to say, everything happens, so more things can happen.

At the beginning of this wheel we were told to listen to our intuition, our subconscious. Our Healing card, the Eight of Swords, is showing us all the things that hold us back from doing so.

What does keep us from helping others or taking care of ourselves in a meaningful way? It's all our insecurities and anxieties that keep us in a holding pattern of self-doubt and second guessing. We think we are not good enough or it's not our place. We tell ourselves to be quiet and not be noticed or we might get hurt again.

It's time to give our first thoughts some credence. For those thoughts are usually our intuition speaking to us. It's often those second thoughts that are the negativity and mean things said to us that we have gathered over the years. Let's shed them like an old skin and go forward, shiny and new.

Our Manifestation card this week is the Four of Swords. With this weeks theme of helping others with kindness, compassion and generosity, I bet a lot of people will be imagining one's self striking out on a grand humanitarian adventure with a lot of blood, sweat and tears. Burning both ends of the candle, fully sacrificing yourself and your needs to achieve full selflessness.

But that is not what is being asked of you and that is not how things will look this week. Remember our Vision card this week wants you to give the same space and kindness equally to others and yourself.

This card is mirroring that in a sense. Give yourself the rest and care you need right now too. Your help, no matter how big or small will be recognized, and taking time and care for yourself does not diminish what you did for others in any way. You deserve the care you would want to give to others so don't deprive yourself of that.

Our Power this week is going to be generosity and kindness with the Six of Pentacles. This weeks wheel is shaping up to have a very humanitarian theme with empathy and intuition being called for in our Vision from yesterday as well.

This card deals with the concept of what you receive will return to you ten fold. The more positivity, compassion, empathy, and kindness we put out into the world, the more will keep going around and eventually return to you when you need it most.

When you feel the urge to help, don't hesitate. It will be the best move to make. But do make sure that how you are helping will be long lasting. Will the actions send ripples throughout people's lives? Will the help be sustainable and productive going into the future?

The quality of the help is just as important as the quantity. A seemingly small and unnoticed gesture might do more than a grand and performative one. So be aware of where your motive to help comes from.
