As of July 1, the colon cancer screening age drops from 50 to 45 for people at average risk. People at increased risk should screen at age 40 (or earlier) based on family history.

Screening is meant for people without symptoms. It helps catch cancer early, before signs appear. If you notice symptoms like blood in your stool, changes in bowel habits, or ongoing abdominal discomfort, seek medical care.
