Did you know that Maui Jim started as a humble beachfront sunglasses stand in Lahaina, Hawaii back in 1980?

The original “Maui Jim” needed a lens that could wipe out intense ocean glare without washing out the brilliant tropical color of the island. Since ordinary lenses couldn’t do both, they engineered their own!

Today, every pair is still designed in Hawaii and built with Patented Polarized Plus tech.
