Indigenous Elders Day, is a dedicated time to honour the vital role that Elders and traditional Knowledge Keepers hold within First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. Far more than a measure of age, being an Elder is an esteemed designation earned through community respect, deep spiritual maturity, and a lifelong commitment to preserving ancestral languages, histories, and cultural traditions. Elbow River Healing Lodge is thankful for the amazing Elders that are part of our community. ✋🏼💜
