Allergy season is here 🌸 and for those on oxygen, it can make breathing feel even more challenging.

Pollen and dry air can increase irritation, congestion, and coughing-especially when you’re already relying on oxygen therapy.

A few simple ways to help manage it:
✨ Keep your equipment clean and change filters regularly
✨ Consider using humidification to reduce dryness
✨ Stay hydrated to help with mucus and irritation
✨ Limit exposure during high pollen days
✨ Speak with your healthcare provider if symptoms worsen

HIE is the second leading cause of infant mortality and lifelong disability worldwide, with outcomes ranging from minimal impact to life-altering conditions.

Early recognition, treatment, and continued research are critical, and so is awareness. This month, we’re helping shine a light on HIE, the families affected, and the importance of education and support.
