The theme of this year’s highlights the importance of listening to one another, learning from different perspectives, and fostering greater understanding of mental health.

When we take the time to listen, respond, and show others that they matter, we strengthen the safe, stable, supportive relationships and environments that help build resilience. These everyday interactions reflect Serve and Return—the back-and-forth exchanges that support healthy brain development and strengthen relationships. On the , we refer to these relationships and environments as “green boxes”—positive supports that can help tip the scale toward positive outcomes.

Building resilience isn’t something we do alone. By listening, responding, and supporting one another, we can all play a role in creating more resilient communities. How can you be a green box for someone today? 🟩
