We only have 6 spots left in our Stay Safe course for the upcoming OCDSB PA day on June 5th in Kanata! If you are looking for something for your 9-13 year old to do instead of just stay at home and play video games on their PA day, why not enroll them in our course where they will meet new friends and learn essential skills to be home alone, be safe while going out by themselves and give them the confidence to make good decisions. Looking for a fun and meaningful way for your child to spend their PA Day? The Stay Safe! course is the perfect mix of confidence-building, hands-on learning, and real-life safety skills for youth ages 9–13!

Throughout the day, kids will learn how to stay safe at home, in the community, and when away from parents or guardians — all in an engaging and supportive environment. From handling unexpected situations and learning important safety rules to practicing basic first aid skills, this course helps children become more confident, responsible, and prepared for everyday challenges.

Our experienced instructors make learning interactive, practical, and fun while teaching skills that can last a lifetime. By the end of the course, participants will earn their Stay Safe! Completion Certificate and walk away feeling empowered and ready to make smart decisions when on their own.

🕗 Course Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm
➕ Optional aftercare available ($15 per half hour after 4pm, up to 1 hour)

We are so excited to be announcing our children’s programs starting on May 29th (PA day for kids in the UCDSB) in Carleton Place and June 5th (PA day for kids in the OCDSB) in Kanata! The Stay Safe! course is a great way introduction on how to be responsible and stay safe when they are starting to get a little more independent. This course goes from 8am until 4pm so you can go to work and they can have a great day making new friends, learning new skills and getting more confident!!
