Three communities, one incredible night, and $14,000 raised for wishes!

Chartwell Oak Park Terrace, Chartwell Oak Park LaSalle, and Chartwell St. Clair Beach joined forces for an incredible Pasta Fundraiser in support of Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime - Rêver pour la vie, raising $14,000 to help make meaningful wishes come true for seniors across Canada.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and helped make the evening such a success. What an amazing show of community spirit and generosity!

Now that’s how you Stuff the Bus! 🚌

Chartwell residents, team members and community partners in Chilliwack recently came together to collect more than 1,200 pounds of food and essential items for local seniors and families in need.

Donation bins were placed throughout the community before the initiative wrapped up with a collection day at the local YMCA, all in support of the Chilliwack Salvation Army.

A big thank you to the local organizations, businesses, volunteers and community members who donated, pitched in, and helped spread the word. It’s amazing what can happen when a community comes together for a good cause! ❤️

A little care goes a long way, and nowhere is that more evident than in the flourishing community garden at Chartwell Wynfield.

Thanks to the dedication of resident gardeners Dan and Edna, the garden is bursting with life, including a tomato plant that's grown so impressively it's earned the nickname "the tomato tree." Their passion and hard work continue to brighten the community and inspire everyone who stops by. 🍅🌱

We are so grateful to have been part of the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation Radiothon! 💙

Our team, along with our sister home, Chartwell McConnell Retirement Residence was proud to take part in an on-air interview, help answer calls from generous community members making donations, and cheer on our colleagues during the Minute to Win It competition! 🎉

We’re especially proud of our team, the Chartwell Champions, who put their skills and team spirit to the test and proudly placed 🥉 THIRD!

We’re truly grateful for the opportunity to participate and contribute to an event that supports our local hospital and helps make a difference right here in our community.

Happy National Dog Day! 🐶💛

At Chartwell Manoir Kirkland, Lola, the General Manager’s dog, has become a beloved part of everyday life at the residence, bringing comfort, companionship and plenty of smiles along the way.

I love seeing Lola around the residence. The moment she sees me, she comes right over to greet me. Her excitement and happiness always bring a smile to my face.” – Mrs. Healy

For Mrs. Eperjesy, Lola’s visits are also a reminder of a very special bond: “Lola brings back wonderful memories of my own dog, who was by my side for 14 years.”

And Mrs. Belafi agrees: “Seeing Lola and her personality just brightens my day even more!”

👨‍🍳 Meet Chad, one of the talented members of our dining team at Chartwell Château Cornwall!

Originally from Cornwall, Chad brings more than 20 years of culinary experience and a true passion for creating delicious meals for our residents. His fantastic food is only part of what makes him such a valued member of our community.

Chad is an incredibly hard worker with a positive attitude that shines every day. Whether he's preparing meals or simply sharing a smile, he always finds ways to uplift those around him and make our residence feel even more like home.

Outside of the kitchen, Chad enjoys exploring yard sales and flea markets and relaxing with classic movies. We're so grateful to have him as part of the Château Cornwall family, and we're sure our residents would agree that he's been a wonderful addition to the team. ❤️

A huge thank you to Rush Hour Escapes Cornwall for an unforgettable afternoon of puzzles, teamwork, and plenty of laughs! Our residents had an absolute blast putting their detective skills to the test and working together to beat the clock. 🧩⏰
We almost escaped... emphasis on almost! 😅 Turns out those last few clues were just a little too clever for us—but we had so much fun trying!
Thank you for such a fantastic and welcoming experience. We can't wait to come back for a rematch! 💙

There's nothing better than bringing people together through creativity! 🎨💙

We had so much fun leading another Paint Class at the Seaway Senior Citizens Club where participants brought a beautiful Caribbean island scene to life! It was fantastic to see such a great turnout from club members, along with a few of our own residents who joined us for the outing! 🥰

Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the importance of staying connected, building friendships, and trying something new. Whether you're an experienced artist or picking up a paintbrush for the first time, it's all about enjoying the experience together and making lasting memories💕

We're proud to host this paint class every three months, and we're already looking forward to seeing everyone again for our next session in October! 💙✨

Who says you have to wait until December for some Christmas magic!? 🎅🏽🎄✨

We turned up the holiday cheer today with our Christmas in July celebration! ☀️⛱️

Our amazing chef served up an irresistible chocolate milkshake bar, complete with whipped cream, cherries, crumbled cookies, and crushed peppermints—because if you’re going to have a milkshake, you might as well go all out!🥤🍪🍒

The fun didn’t stop there! We were delighted by a visit from a very warm Santa (who may have been rethinking that full suit in July!!) and a not-so-grumpy Grinch! 🎄
