I bought my quad a few years ago after one ride as a passenger, and I regret nothing! If you ride, you know what I mean, and if you don't, maybe you should! If I can switch from dress clothes to mud gear in zero seconds with a smile on my face, anything is possible!

This past weekend, we went to the Bigfoot Charity Poker Rally to support Rocky Mountain House Search and Rescue. Mud, water, sun, fun... all for charity and the important work they do for community. And it was the best day with hundreds of machines and people riding like they owned the day (minus the tornado at the end of it all)! Can't wait for next year!

What do you do for fun, to recharge, and energize? In a time when "busy" in life is an understatement, what are you busy doing for you? I hope you do what ignites and inspires you as often as you can. It changes things in the office and out, when you do.

Healing can feel a lot different when you stop waiting for someone else to come fix what they broke.

There is a hard moment where you realize no one is coming to save you, explain it for you, or do the work for you. That realization can feel heavy. But it can also be the moment you finally take your power back.

Because when you start choosing yourself, showing up for yourself, and taking responsibility for your own healing, you stop feeling so helpless in your own life.

Deep truth: all true healing happens when it leads to the body knowing that it is safe.  
  
Creating felt safety is the quiet foundation that calms chronic inflammation, regulates your nervous system, and brings hormones, inflammation and gut health back into balance. When your nervous system finally registers “I am safe,” it shifts out of survival mode and into repair — digestion improves, inflammation quiets, hormones stabilize, and deep healing becomes possible.  
  
You send these safety signals in both physical and mind-body ways.  
  
Physically: stable blood sugar, healing the gut, foods that love your body back, clearing environmental toxins, restorative sleep, hydration all make the body feel safe.
