🌿 Two Weeks to Go! 🎨

Fall has a way of bringing us right back into routine.

School schedules. Work. Activities. Appointments. Meal planning. Full calendars. Full days.

And sometimes, in the middle of getting everyone else where they need to be, we forget to make space for ourselves.

So here’s your reminder:

Take a few hours.
Put down the to-do list.
Step out of the busy.
Connect with yourself. 🤎

Our first Pathway to Wellness Community Workshop — Paint • Pour • Connect is happening in just 2 weeks in Estevan.

Spend an afternoon creating alongside Krystal Glowatski from CollabARTive Studios, connecting with others, and giving yourself permission to slow down.

You don’t need to be an artist.
You don’t need to have the words.
You don’t need to “fix” anything.

Just come as you are and trust the process. 🎨

Many women say this when they come into therapy. Did you know that feeling tired all the time isn’t something you should simply have to “push through”?

Women often carry multiple roles at once—partner, mother, daughter, caregiver, professional, friend, household manager—and with those roles come endless responsibilities, expectations, and often an invisible mental load.

Chronic stress and emotional demands can contribute to mental and physical exhaustion, difficulty concentrating, irritability, sleep disruption, and burnout.

A few things to consider:

🌺 Check in with yourself. Is your fatigue physical, emotional, mental—or a combination?

🔎 Look for patterns. Notice what increases your stress and what helps restore your energy.

🛑 Challenge the expectation to do it all. Boundaries, delegation, and asking for help are not signs of weakness.

🌿 Prioritize recovery. Sleep, movement, nutrition, meaningful connection, and periods of genuine rest all matter.

💬 Talk about it. Persistent exhaustion can have many causes, including physical health concerns, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, or burnout. If it’s ongoing or interfering with your daily life, consider speaking with your healthcare provider or a mental health professional.

You don’t have to wait until you’re completely depleted to ask for support.

Your wellbeing deserves a place on the list, too.

Maybe you don’t need to “work on yourself.” Maybe you just need a little space to be supported.

Our first Pathway to Wellness: Paint • Pour • Connect workshop is for anyone who has been carrying something—whether that’s grief, a loss, a change, a transition, or simply the weight of a season that has felt a little harder than expected.

You might benefit from this workshop if you’re:

🤎 Moving through a loss or grieving someone or something important to you
🤎 Adjusting to a life change or transition
🤎 Feeling like you’ve been holding a lot and could use a place to exhale
🤎 Looking for connection with others who understand that life can be complicated
🤎 Someone who finds it easier to express feelings through creativity than through words
🤎 Simply craving an afternoon to slow down, be present, and do something for yourself

You don’t have to have the “right” words.
You don’t have to be ready to talk about your experience.
You don’t have to know exactly what you need.

You can simply show up.

Through creativity, conversation, and connection, we’ll create space to explore what we’re carrying—and perhaps leave with a little more understanding, a little more connection, and something beautiful that you created along the way. 🎨

This is not therapy. It’s an experiential wellness workshop designed to offer support, connection, and a gentle opportunity to explore loss and change in community.

✨ You deserve support, even when you’re not sure what support should look like.

Come as you are. Let yourself be supported.

Introducing our first Pathway to Wellness- Supporting you through loss, grief and life transitions

We’re excited to bring the Pathway to Wellness Community Workshop Series to Estevan with our very first event: PAINT • POUR • CONNECT!

🎨 What is a Paint Pour?
Paint pouring is a playful, process-focused art experience where you layer and pour different colours of fluid paint onto a canvas, allowing the colours to move, blend, and create a one-of-a-kind design. There’s no need to be an artist or have a plan—the beauty is in letting the process unfold.

✨ Meet Our Special Guest: Krystal Glowatski

We’re thrilled to have Krystal Glowatski, artist, educator, and owner of CollabARTive Studios in Weyburn, joining us for this special experience.

Krystal holds a PhD focused on identity, relationships, healing, and the ways we make meaning from difficult experiences. Her work brings together art, storytelling, and connection, exploring creativity as a way to express what can sometimes be difficult to put into words.

We especially love Krystal’s belief that art doesn’t have to be about making something perfect—it can simply give us a place to put what we’re carrying. 🤎

And that feels like the perfect invitation for this workshop.

This afternoon is about more than the finished canvas. It’s about slowing down, exploring creativity, connecting with others, and gently making space for whatever you may be carrying through grief, loss, or life change.

📍 Estevan – Arts Council Room, Affinity Place

🌾 Introducing Pathways to Wellness:
Supporting you through loss, grief & life transitions.

A new workshop series from Prairie Pathway Community Wellness Program

This is a topic that is especially close to our hearts and no surprise this is the first topic for our new program.

When Trina first began her private practice, one of the reasons she wanted to create a space of her own was to provide support for people experiencing grief and loss. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside many people through some of life’s most difficult changes. We’ve done this by providing free support groups, educational talks and therapeutic support groups.

Now, we’re expanding that support in a different way.

Each month, we’ll offer a small-group workshop exploring different ways we can connect, create, move and heal collectively while navigating loss, grief and change.

These workshops are experiential in nature—and not therapy. Meaning we’ll learn and connect through doing, creating, moving and experiencing rather than simply sitting and talking.

And you never have to share your story.

You are welcome to participate at whatever level feels right for you. 🤎

We’re also excited to collaborate with local services and facilitators to create specialized experiences that bring different pathways to wellness into the room.

🎨 Creativity
🌿 Movement
🤍 Connection
🌾 Community

The workshops will alternate between our two communities:

📍 September — Estevan
📍 October — Weyburn
📍 November — Estevan
📍 December — Weyburn

…and we’ll continue from there.

Our first workshop will be held September 13 in Estevan.

✨ Registration opens Friday through our online booking site. Details to come!

These will be intentionally small-group experiences, so limited spots will be available.

Whether you’re navigating the loss of someone you love, a significant life change, a transition you didn’t choose, or simply finding your way through a different season of life—we hope you’ll find a pathway that feels right for you.

You don’t have to walk it alone. 🌾

When your nervous system takes the parenting wheel… 🧠🥴

Ever have a parenting moment where you react in a way that doesn’t quite feel like you?

Dr. Becky talks about how our nervous system can hijack our parenting—especially when we’re overwhelmed, overstimulated, stressed, or triggered. In those moments, our brain shifts into protection mode, making it harder to respond with the calm, connection, and patience we want to bring to our kids.

It’s not about being a “bad parent.”
It’s about understanding what’s happening in your nervous system.

Sometimes the most helpful parenting question isn’t “How do I get my child to behave?” but:

“What’s happening in me right now?”

A little self-awareness can create a whole lot more space for connection. 🩵

🎧 Worth a listen if you’re a parent, caregiver, or someone who works with children.
