We are pleased to share that the previously announced potential temporary closure of the RRHC Emergency Department is no longer required. Emergency services will continue to operate as normal.

⚠ Potential Temporary ER Closure – Please be advised that the Rainy River Health Centre Emergency Department may be temporarily closed from Tuesday, July 21 at 12:00 p.m. until Wednesday, July 22 at 8:00 p.m.

What an unforgettable day! ⛳☀️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our inaugural Links for Local Care Golf Tournament.

To our golfers, volunteers, sponsors, prize donors, and everyone who helped make the day possible—thank you for your incredible support.

Despite the summer heat, the course was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and a shared commitment to strengthening local health care.

The most exciting part? Together, we celebrated reaching the $1.67 million goal for our Lights, Camera, DIAGNOSIS campaign! 🎉 Because of this, local MRI services and new digital radiography X-ray equipment are one step closer to transforming patient care across the Rainy River District.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who played a part in this milestone. Thank you for believing in this vision, supporting local health care, and making our first Links for Local Care Golf Tournament an incredible success. 💙

Today, surrounded by an incredible community at our Links for Local Care Golf Tournament, we reached an unforgettable milestone.

Together, we have officially achieved our $1.67 million goal for the Lights, Camera, DIAGNOSIS Campaign.

To every donor, sponsor, volunteer, community partner and supporter who stood behind this campaign—thank you. Every gift, every event, every sponsorship, every shared post, and every act of kindness brought us one step closer to this day.

Because of you, patients across the Rainy River District will soon have access to MRI services close to home, along with new digital radiography equipment that will provide faster diagnoses, better care, and a better experience for thousands of patients and families for years to come.

What an amazing month of giving! 🍔🩵

Throughout June, the Great Burger Giveback, organized by the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce , brought our communities together in support of the Lights, Camera, DIAGNOSIS campaign. Participating restaurants created delicious feature burgers and generously donated $1 from every burger sold.

This week, we visited each participating restaurant to collect their donations, and we were absolutely blown away by the results...

🥳 Together, you raised $1,755!

A heartfelt thank you to the Chamber of Commerce for bringing this initiative to life, to our participating restaurants for getting behind the campaign, and to every single person who ordered a burger in support. Every purchase helped move us closer to improving diagnostic imaging for patients and families across our region.
