This happens every year. Saturn stations retrograde and everyone freaks out. Just a quick reminder that the big planets retrograde every year for about six months. The days around the station can be charged, which I’ll discuss. But big planet retrogrades are not like Mercury, Venus, or Mars. Not at all.

So yes, tomorrow afternoon Saturn stations retrograde at 14° Aries and will travel back to 7° Aries, stationing direct on December 7. For a few days you’ll really feel the energy and then you’ll settle in as the lessons of the retrograde appear and fade. Once fully retrograde, Saturn is a steady force encouraging you to look a bit deeper and to sort out the things that hold you back.

This is a time to reflect on your responsibilities and discipline. If you’ve been doing your work and showing up to class, you’ll be rewarded. If you’ve been slacking off, you’ll be asked to try again with a bit more attention and determination.

Self-doubt and negative self/talk can happen at this time. You’re being encouraged to stand in your power rather than allowing yourself to be pushed around by your own inner bully. It’s time to believe in yourself as much as others do!

Combine this retrograde with the nodes newly in Leo and Aquarius, and there’s a real possibility you can finally get out of your own way! Be serious but don’t take yourself too seriously. It’s only life, after all.
