Since 2018 I have tried to improve the health and physical wellbeing of my clients. Now it is time to do the same for myself. I want to thank everyone who has supported me through the years. This decision to close AMP Physiotherapy Sudbury was not one that came lightly, but it is the best thing for me at this time. In Health, Derek.

Weekly evening availability only. Beginning at 4:30pm. I have been working outside of the clinic during the daytime and only have evening appointment slots for private clients. With an increased personal priority on family life, there is some variability in the evening hours as my family schedule changes. I know this is not necessarily ideal for my clients, but I have put work before family for too long, and it was long overdue to make a change in my priorities.

Come find me as of August 1st, 2024! For those of you who have seen me in the past you know this was always my goal for a clinical location. My clients will have full access to their amazing gym equipment during physical therapy sessions. This setting will also allow me to build out different offerings for my clients in the future. I will be progressively rolling out updates on the changes in treatment philosophy that I have been working on in the background over the past while. Let’s all get stronger and more resilient together! 💪

The calm before the racers start coming into the finish area on day 1 of the event here . I’m here to provide some basic post-race relief to the racers including stretching, soft tissue work for cramping and lactic acid relief, and more. I kept the setup more simple this year as last year I had a table full of stuff I never ended up needing. Just the basics and my brain + hands to look after the athletes this weekend. Look for me in the bright pink T-shirt!! 💪Good luck to all the racers this weekend!

So yesterday Dynamic Earth summer day camp my 5 y/o made this pretty awesome replica of a hip joint complete with muscles! I think it’s pretty accurate and it moves well too 👀 it has earned a place on my desk as a new demo tool

I had a great weekend helping racers during this past weekend! It was great to see so many people outside enjoying the event. There were some spectacular finishing times, lots of heart and determination, and a love of physical activity all around. A big shoutout to the organizers for putting on a stellar event, I can’t wait until next year! 💪
