Working in the aesthetics industry means I have the opportunity to try many different treatments, but if I did not work in this industry, these are the five I would still choose to invest in:

⚡️Pixel RF or DVL laser
These treatments can help improve skin tone, texture, pigmentation, and overall skin quality.

Chin filler
A small, conservative amount can create beautiful facial balance and enhance the profile without dramatically changing your appearance.

Hyperdilute Radiesse for the neck 🩷
This treatment helps stimulate collagen and improve skin firmness, texture, and crepiness over time.

Masseter neurotoxin
This can help relieve jaw tension and clenching while also creating a softer, more balanced appearance through the lower face.

Microneedling
A reliable option for supporting collagen production and improving concerns such as texture, fine lines, pores, and acne scarring.

Guess what your injector has had done 👀💉

Same face. Just a little strategy, consistency & time. 🩷

Swipe to see my before + after and guess which treatments I’ve had along the way.

Hint: it’s probably more than you think. 😉

SURPRISE 👀 Here’s what your injector has actually had done…

💉 Botox — every 4 months full face
✨ Radiesse — 1 syringe to the cheeks
✨ Radiesse — 1 syringe for a lateral lift
💉 Chin filler — 1 syringe
💉 Chin shadow + blending — 1 syringe
⚡ Laser — Dye-VL + Pixel
🩷 Microneedling — approximately 3x/year
🧴 Consistent skincare + daily SPF
✨ Chemical peels 1-2/ year

It’s not one treatment. It’s a combination of skin quality, collagen stimulation, structure, balance and consistency over time.

And surprise… if I won’t do it on myself, I won’t do it on you. 😉🩷

I believe in the treatments I offer because I use them too.

And a little perspective… that’s 5 mL of product between Radiesse and filler — and I still look like me. 🩷

It’s not about being afraid of the product or the number of syringes. It’s about where it’s placed, why it’s placed, and the education, anatomical knowledge and technique of your injector.

The goal isn’t to look “done.” It’s to create balance, support and subtle changes that still look like you.

Three things every client should know before an aesthetic treatment 💉🩷

Neurotoxin does not work overnight.
Filler will not look perfect immediately.
Healthy skin is built over time.

Subtle enhancement, still completely her. 💗

This client was looking for a little more hydration, shape and definition while maintaining a natural result. Treatment was individualized based on her anatomy, goals and clinical assessment.

Microneedling or laser for acne scars… which one actually works better? 👀

In Episode 2 of The Pink Paper, we’re looking past the marketing and into the research. The answer? Both treatments are evidence-based and effective - but laser may offer greater improvement for more significant scarring, while microneedling can mean less downtime and an easier recovery.

Because the “best” treatment isn’t always the fanciest device. It’s the one that makes sense for your skin, your scars, your goals, and your lifestyle. 💗

A few treatments I personally would not spend my money on and what I would choose instead!

CoolSculpting or cryo-freezing❄️
Personally, I would choose PCDC injections instead. I find they allow for a more customized treatment plan, and I have been happier with the results I have seen both personally and with my clients.

Under-eye filler👁️
For many people, I would not recommend jumping straight to filler. PRP or natural gel may be a better place to start because they focus on improving skin quality rather than simply adding volume beneath the eyes.

Preventative filler💉
Filler should not be used just because it is trending. If you do not need it yet, I would rather see you invest in skin treatments and collagen-building options that support your skin long-term.

A 10-step skincare routine✨
More products do not always mean better skin. I would rather you have four or five evidence-based products that work for your specific concerns than 10 products creating clutter on your shelf.

Three signs you can trust your injector 💉

They’re comfortable saying no. A trustworthy injector understands your limits, respects your anatomy, and will not recommend a treatment simply to make a sale. Sometimes the safest and most appropriate answer is no or not yet.

They recommend less instead of more. More product does not always mean better results. A conservative approach allows your injector to build gradually, reassess your results, and maintain balance without overfilling your features.

They explain the why.
You deserve to understand what is being recommended, what the treatment involves, and why it may or may not be right for you. Education and informed consent should always be part of the process.

The goal should never be to change your face. It should be to enhance your natural features while helping you feel confident, informed, and cared for.🩷

Does dermal filler really migrate? 💉📚

The evidence tells us that yes, filler can migrate - but it is a recognized complication, not something that automatically happens to every patient.

It is also important to understand that filler being visible on imaging does not necessarily mean it has migrated or is still creating noticeable volume. Swelling, inflammation, edema, fibrosis, nodules, and retained product can sometimes look similar, which is why a proper assessment is essential before deciding on treatment.

The research reinforces the importance of conservative treatment plans, proper product selection, respecting facial anatomy, appropriate injection techniques, and reassessing before adding more product.

Get to know me as your nurse injector!💓

From reading research papers for fun to never skipping sunscreen, everything I do comes back to education, safety, and helping you feel confident in your own skin.

And yes, I’ll probably remind you to trust the process along the way 💉

At The Pink Syringe, my goal is never to change your face - it’s to help you feel like the best version of yourself. 💗

That means recommending only the treatments that make sense for your goals, your anatomy, and your comfort level. Sometimes that means injectables. Sometimes it’s skincare. Sometimes it’s laser. And sometimes, it means recommending that you wait.
Every face is different, which is why every treatment plan should be too.

You should never feel pressured to say yes to a treatment and you should always feel confident asking questions.💓💓
