𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 – Labour Day 🇨🇦 The final long weekend of the summer is here, and we’ll be closed on Monday for Labour Day.

After the holiday, we’ll return to our regular hours — and as of September 12th, we will once again be open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

We were closed Saturdays throughout July and August so our team could make the most of our short Nova Scotia summers. 💙

We’ve been celebrating some pretty special milestones at Insight this summer, and now it’s Dr. Rachael Noah’s turn! 🎉

Dr. Noah's Insight story started as a clinical assistant, where she discovered her love for eye care and decided to pursue optometry.

After earning her Doctor of Optometry in Boston, she returned to Insight as an associate in August 2016. Almost five years later, in February 2021, she became a partner.

A lot has changed over those 10 years, too — she’s now married, a proud mom to a beautiful little boy, and recently became a homeowner. 🏡

Happy 10 years, Rachael 💐 We’re so glad your journey brought you back to where it all started. 💙

𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: Police have confirmed there is no ongoing threat in downtown Halifax. ALL roads have been reopened.

An evacuation order has been issued for the Purdy’s Wharf area and has recently been expanded. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻.

Traffic is backed up due to road closures, so please allow extra time, check your route before heading out, and travel safely.

🚗 Parking update for Insight Optometry patients

You may notice new Indigo parking signs throughout the Cambridge Suites plaza, but nothing has changed for our patients.

✔️ Our 8 designated Insight Optometry parking spaces remain FREE. Simply pick up a parking pass from our reception team and display it on your dashboard.

✔️ If our lot is full, we offer complimentary parking at The Doyle Parkade (5415 Doyle St.). Just pick up your pass from reception before you leave.

✔️ We also validate on-street parking paid through the HotSpot app. Just ask our reception team for the validation tablet.

Parking in downtown Halifax can be challenging, so we’re committed to making your visit as easy as possible. If you have any questions before your appointment, just give us a call—we’re always happy to help.
