A little update on what’s next for Bubbles & Balms...
Over the last little while, we’ve been exploring what the next chapter of Bubbles & Balms could look like. We’ve had a few wonderful people approach us about taking over the business, but so far, nothing has felt quite like the right fit.
And somewhere in that process, we realized something: maybe the next chapter doesn’t need to happen right away.
After nearly 13 incredible years, we’re choosing to take a break. To soak up a few years with our kids while they’re still little. To have more time for our family. And to give Judith the space to support Justin as he continues his work creating more affordable housing in our community.
We can’t tell you when—or exactly how—Bubbles & Balms will return. But we’re not treating this as goodbye. We’ll keep this community close, stay in touch, and leave the door open for whatever the future brings.
And we’re not disappearing just yet! We’ll continue making and restocking your favourites through November 13, so there’s still lots of time to visit us and stock up.
A few important dates to know:
September 14 — Our Hampton boutique closes
November 13–15 — Find us at Lady Smith
November 20–22 — Find us at Rhoda’s
December 3 — Our online shop closes on our lucky 13th anniversary
Between now and then, we plan to enjoy every last batch, market, conversation and familiar face.
Thirteen years of Bubbles & Balms has given our family more than we ever could have imagined. We’re incredibly excited to spend these next few months celebrating it with the people who helped make it possible.
This isn't goodbye. It's just see you later
