The Never Give Up Gala is always such a meaningful night for our Cornerstone team, because of what sits at the centre of it all — children, youth and families in our community.
This year was especially exciting with the announcement of Wood’s Homes’ $4 million capital campaign. Knowing what that investment will mean for families across Southern Alberta made an already special evening even more meaningful.
We’re also pretty proud of our own Travis Zentner, Chair of the Gala Committee, and Pat Siedlecki, who emceed the evening. Both have such big hearts for our community, and it was pretty special seeing them up there representing something that means so much to all of us.
And then there are all the people who make a night like this possible. The sponsors, donors, volunteers, businesses and everyone who bought a ticket, placed a bid or simply came out to support the cause. Looking around that room and seeing so many familiar faces reminded us just how lucky we are to live and work in a community that shows up.
At Cornerstone, we see every day how important it is to have people around you when life gets hard. That’s a big part of why Wood’s Homes and the Never Give Up Gala mean so much to us.
A beautiful night for an incredible cause, surrounded by some pretty wonderful people. We’re very proud to be a small part of it. ❤️
