Assessment shows you where you are. A Workplace Substance Use Health Strategy determines where you go next.

Organizations also need a realistic plan for how change will happen. That’s why this week, we're moving into the second stage of CAPSA's Healthy Workplace journey: PLAN.

CAPSA's new Healthy Workplace Strategy Training is designed for leaders, managers and HR professionals who are ready to move beyond individual wellness initiatives and develop a coordinated approach to workplace substance use health.

That's why this week we’re starting with the first stage of CAPSA's Approach to Substance Use Health in the Workplace: Assessment.

Because every workplace is different. Organizations have different policies, cultures, benefits, leadership structures, employee needs and levels of readiness for change.

Before recommending solutions, we need to understand that context. Assessment allows you to identify what's already working, where gaps exist and what actions are likely to have the greatest impact.
