You donโ€™t have to earn rest.
You donโ€™t have to finish everything first, take care of everyone else first, or wait until youโ€™re completely exhausted before giving yourself permission to slow down.

Sometimes prioritizing yourself looks like doing absolutely nothing. Sometimes itโ€™s getting outside, enjoying a quiet coffee, moving your body, booking the appointment youโ€™ve been putting off, or simply saying no to something you donโ€™t have the energy for.
